FAQ: What is the best way to wire the output of the N6780 SMU power modules?

The best way is to use independent wires for force (output) and sense leads. Twisted the wire pair to reduce mutual inductance.Complete wiring help is included in the manual at literature.cdn.keysight.com/litweb/pdf/N6705-90001.pdf#page=35.

Keep in mind that a local capacitor may need to be added depending which Output Bandwidth setting is used on power supply.
